The Importance of Caring for Orphans in Islam
In Islam, caring for orphans is not only a noble act of kindness but also a duty that brings immense reward. Orphans are among the most vulnerable in society, and Islam emphasizes protecting their rights, nurturing them with love, and ensuring they are not neglected.
Allah ﷻ commands us in the Qur’an:
“And they ask you about orphans. Say, ‘Improvement for them is best.’”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:220)
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who himself was an orphan promised closeness to him in Paradise for those who care for orphans:
“The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers close together.
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
At Noreen Zindagi Welfare Organization, we believe every orphan deserves dignity, education, and a chance at a brighter future. By supporting an orphan, you not only change a child’s life but also earn everlasting rewards.
